Most tools that score DeFi risk stop at the score and leave you to act on it, which is only useful if you happen to be awake and looking. Auto-Defense is the acting half: the score is already being computed, so the marginal step is doing something with it.
If you have not granted an auto-sweep session, Auto-Defense degrades to alert-only. It never gains a capability you did not sign for.
Turn on Auto-Defense
- 1
Open Earn → Settings and review the defence threshold.
- 2
Grant an auto-sweep session if you want automatic exits rather than alerts.
The grant is time-bounded and amount-bounded, and is scoped so the only action it authorises is withdrawing to you.
- 3
Check that notifications are enabled for the app.
Alert-only mode is worth nothing if the alert cannot reach you.
- 4
Revoke the session at any time from the same screen.
Good to know
- An automatic exit is a real on-chain withdrawal and costs network gas, and any yield fee owed is settled the same way a manual withdrawal would be.
- Exiting to liquid USDC is deliberately the only defensive action. Moving funds somewhere clever on your behalf is exactly the class of discretion a non-custodial app should not have.
Frequently asked
No. The session grant is bounded on-chain to withdraw-to-owner only, so the destination is your own address by construction rather than by policy.
Auto-Defense still monitors and still alerts you; it simply cannot act. Nothing is silently enabled.
No. Re-entering is a decision you make and sign. The breaker only ever moves in the defensive direction.
