You can earn yield on idle stablecoins, send and stream payments, bridge assets across chains, and purchase gift cards, all without ever surrendering custody of your private keys.

Everything, without a custodian
A custodial app’s features. Self-custody’s guarantees.
Earn, pay, protect and account for your money, every feature is an application of the same prepare-on-server, sign-on-device split.
Who it’s for
Built for how you actually use money
Five very different jobs, one non-custodial app. Pick yours and see the exact features doing the work, step by step.
The non-custodial guarantee
We built it so we cannot touch your money.
Self-custody is not a marketing line here, it is the architecture. Here’s exactly how it holds, even for automation like recurring autopay.
Read the security modelKeys never leave your device
Your seed phrase and passphrase are generated on-device and stored only in the OS keychain (Face ID / biometric gated, device-only, never cloud-backed). The backend stores public data, addresses and extended public keys, never a secret.
Prepare → sign → relay
Our servers only prepare unsigned transaction context and relay what your device signs. Signing happens on your phone, in an isolated crypto layer that is physically forbidden from touching the network or storage.
Allowances, not custody
Recurring payments and streams run on a revocable on-chain allowance you sign once, not an escrow. You can revoke at any time. Earn’s automation is scoped to withdraw-to-you-only and capped by time and amount.
Defense in depth
Recipient risk-screening, an anti-swap broadcast firewall, bank-grade spending guardrails, a one-tap freeze, clear-signing, an address-poisoning guard, and quarantine of unverified scam tokens mean you always see and control exactly what you approve, and only genuine funds ever count as yours.

Frequently asked
No. SpendTheBits is a self-custody wallet, not an exchange. There is no order book, no matching engine, no market maker, no trading pairs and no price-based swaps. You cannot trade one cryptocurrency for another in the app, and we never take custody of your funds — so there is nothing for us to trade against. We are also not partnered with any third-party exchange and integrate no exchange, aggregator, swap router or DEX.
No. SpendTheBits does not offer swaps, trades or conversions between different assets at a market rate. The app is for holding, sending, receiving and earning on the crypto you already own. If you want to trade, you would do that elsewhere and send the result to your SpendTheBits wallet.
No. There is no fiat on-ramp or off-ramp anywhere in the app — you cannot buy cryptocurrency with fiat currency, and you cannot sell cryptocurrency for fiat. SpendTheBits only ever handles crypto you already hold, and it never holds it for you.
No. Bridging moves the same asset between networks: Circle's CCTP burns your USDC on the origin chain and mints the identical USDC on the destination chain at 1:1. The asset does not change, there is no counterparty and no price is involved. It is a transfer between networks, not a trade of one asset for another.
FXRP is your XRP represented on the Flare network, and wrapping is not a trade. It uses Flare's decentralized FAssets protocol at a fixed 1:1 ratio in both directions — wrap XRP into FXRP, unwrap FXRP back into XRP, always one for one. There is no market rate, no spread and no counterparty taking the other side, which is what would make it an exchange. It works like a wrapped-asset bridge, and it exists so XRP holders can access yield on Flare.
Take back custody. Keep the convenience.
