Circle Arc: USDC-Native Blockchain Guides

Arc is Circle's EVM-compatible layer-1 blockchain built for stablecoin payments. USDC is the native gas token, so you pay network fees in dollars rather than in a volatile coin, and blocks reach deterministic finality, meaning a confirmed payment is final rather than probably final.

SpendTheBits supports USDC on Arc mainnet from the same recovery phrase as every other chain in the wallet. You can receive and send USDC on Arc, move USDC to and from Arc through Circle's CCTP burn-and-mint rail, and accept x402 agent payments settled on Arc. If Arc is unreachable, routing falls back to the other supported chains automatically.

  • Arc mainnet chain ID: 5042.
  • Gas token: USDC. On Arc, USDC exists as an 18-decimal native balance and a 6-decimal ERC-20 view of the same asset.
  • Cross-chain: Circle CCTP, where Arc is domain 26.
  • Keys: generated and kept on your phone; SpendTheBits never holds them.
